After a transformative encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ in 1996, Rev. David Akanwa was ignited by divine inspiration into a ministry that has since blossomed for over thirty years. What began as a hunger for God that could not be satisfied by ordinary means became a burning mandate to bring people into deep, genuine intimacy with the Holy Spirit.
Rev. David Akanwa is a Pastor, Teacher, Healing Minister, Trainer, Life Coach, and Author of the book "Dominion over Sin." He is gifted in nurturing church leaders and congregations alike — skillfully guiding many on the journey to uncover their purpose, calling, and God-given gifts. Empowering people to lead victorious lives through the wisdom of God's Word has been the hallmark of his calling.
He oversees an ever-expanding network of Intimate Vessels Churches that span across Nigeria and beyond. Each year, he orchestrates grand teaching and healing gatherings known as the International Heritage Conference and Healing Experience — drawing in crowds from around the world who come hungry for an encounter with God.

Rev. David is happily married to Dr. Angela Akanwa, who serves alongside him as co-pastor of Intimate Vessels Church. Dr. Angela is a Pastor, Educator, Life Coach, and Author in her own right — founder of Spirit Filled Women International (SFWI) and author of "Power of Adjustment in Marriage." Together, they model a Christ-centred marriage and family, blessed with children, serving God as one.
